Toddler Teacher's ManualWhat can two- and three-year-olds
learn? Lots. Word Aflame curriculum realizes that the minds of
little ones are fertile fields for receiving truth. The seed
of God's Word is planted by colorful visuals, exciting lessons,
and fun-filled activities. The material corresponds to the motor
skills and attention span of the children. The teaching tips
help the teacher sow the seed in the most productive way.

Toddler Teacher's Resource Packet"What I hear, I forget. What
I see, I remember. What I do, I learn" (Chinese proverb). "Oh,
look! I see Jesus." Happy little voices fill the Sunday
school room as the teacher holds up a beautiful Bible art picture.
These pictures, along with flannelgraphs, stand-up figures, and
a variety of visuals bring the Bible story to life for two- and
three-year-olds. These visuals add color and excitement to the
lessons. The packet is designed to be used with the teacher's
manual.

About the Toddler EditorLois Truman has a Ph.D. in Child & Family Studies (B. S. in Elementary Education and M. Ed. in Guidance/Psychological Services) and wears several hats as an educator, speaker, counselor, wife, mother and most importantly, Grammy Pie to two granddaughters and two grandsons. She is blessed with two daughters, a son, a son-in-law and a daughter-in-law, all of whom she’s very proud. She wrote Primary Sunday school lessons when the Word Aflame curriculum was first being developed and currently serves as the editor for the infant/toddler curriculum. She traveled extensively as the daughter of missionaries (Robert & Marjorie McFarland), and as the wife of Garry Truman (first UPC military chaplain). Together they started three home mission churches and short-term missionary stints. Lois and Garry reside in St. Louis (Florissant) where he is on the faculty of the Urshan Graduate School of Theology. She is an adjunct professor in early childhood for Ivy Tech Community College of Indiana (online courses) but her greatest thrill is helping toddler teachers (and everyone) to better understand toddlers.
